SCRAPPY STARS

First of all, thanks to Jasmine at quiltkisses.blogspot.ca for the idea of using up my blues in some scrappy stars.  The thrifty side of me keeps forcing me to use scraps and stash.  Much more exciting to use new material, but overall I am happy with it.

    This is a great way to use up scraps, I should probably be doing the same! But, I must ask, how did you hang it to the wall like that? It looks so clean!

    Thanks Molli. I sewed a sleeve on the top and bottom and inserted 2 flat metal strips. Previously I'd been using dowels but wasn't happy with the bulkiness. The weight of the lower metal strips really helps the quilt stay clean and flat on the wall.
