Sister Act

  Who better to make a quilt for than your sister ??  

Especially when she's as amazing as mine is!

This one came together pretty quick.

The pattern is from Gerri Robinson , found in the Jan/Feb issue of McCall's Quilting. 

 I made it a bit smaller ( I was using material from my stash and ran short! )

Crazy Quilt

I started on this shortly after I first began quilting in the beginning of 2012.

Blocks are 9 inches, finished.
 So far it measures 54 x 63....  I think that's as big as it's going to be

This past weekend I found some great sales while visiting my sister in the States, so I stocked up on batting.  Maybe this quilt top will finally be finished which is kind of sad because I sure will miss it brightening up my sewing room wall!

Some blocks turned out a bit wonky, not a lot of rhyme or reason to this one, just fun :)

How to quilt such a busy quilt???  Any suggestions??
